Video Entry Systems

Video door entry for offices, apartment blocks, and managed sites. See and speak to every visitor before they come in.

What this covers

A reception desk cannot be staffed all day. A video entry system means nobody gets in without being seen and approved - from the building, from a remote office, or from a phone on the other side of the country.

HD Video on Every Door

Full colour, night vision, and wide angle as standard. See who is at the door before you decide to let them in.

App-Based Door Release

Answer the door and release the lock from your phone anywhere in the world. Calls route to app, desk phone, and PC simultaneously.

Multi-Zone Ready

Per-flat, per-floor, or per-secure-area routing. One system controlling multiple independently managed access points.

Electric Lock Integration

Strikes, magnetic holds, and release buttons wired as part of every installation. One door, one mechanism, two control points.

How We Work

01

Entry point assessment

We identify all access points, define who needs to be able to respond to entry requests, and establish where call routing needs to go.

02

System design

We specify the right panel types, internal handsets or app-based answering, release mechanisms, and visitor capture settings.

03

Installation

Panel mounting, cabling or network connection, electric release installation, and full system configuration before we leave.

04

Call routing setup

We configure exactly where calls go - which phones, which apps, in what order - and test every combination until it works reliably.

05

Handover

We test every call point and door release, register mobile apps for all relevant staff or residents, and confirm visitor capture is logging correctly.

Common Questions

Can I answer the door from my phone when I am not in the building?

Yes. IP video entry systems route calls to an app on your phone. You can see the visitor, speak to them, and release the door from anywhere with a signal. This is standard on our installations, not an add-on.

How does it work for an apartment block with many residents?

Each flat has its own call button on the external panel. When a visitor presses it, the relevant flat's handset or app rings. The resident verifies the visitor and releases the door for their flat only. It scales from two units to several hundred without the system becoming complex to manage.

What happens if the door panel gets damaged?

IP panels are field-replaceable. The replacement unit connects to the same network and picks up the same configuration. Unlike older analogue systems, a damaged panel does not take the whole installation down while you wait for parts.

Can it work with our access control system?

Yes. We commonly integrate video entry with access control so the door release on the intercom panel uses the same electric strike as access cards and fobs. One door, one locking mechanism, controlled from two different points depending on whether it is a visitor or a credentialled user.
