Remote Monitoring

24/7 live CCTV monitoring by our Alarm Receiving Centre. Real operators watching your cameras, not just motion alerts.

What this covers

Recorded footage tells you what happened. Remote monitoring stops it happening. Our ARC-linked operators watch live feeds, confirm incidents, and deploy the right response - whether that is an audio challenge, a keyholder call, or the police.

24/7 Live Operators

NSI Gold ARC coverage every hour of every day. No unmanned periods, no gaps, no automated-only response.

Verification Before Dispatch

Operators confirm what is happening before deploying. Police response is real, not a false alarm statistic.

Remote System Health

Firmware updates, fault diagnostics, and health checks handled remotely. Most issues resolved without an engineer on site.

How We Work

01

System audit

We assess your existing CCTV, alarm, and network infrastructure to confirm what is needed to bring the site up to monitoring standard.

02

Zone configuration

We define which areas require monitoring, set trigger rules and sensitivity thresholds, and establish priority levels for different events.

03

ARC connection

We link your cameras and alarm panels to our Alarm Receiving Centre over encrypted connections and run full integration tests.

04

Response protocol setup

We agree and document the exact response protocol with you - when to audio challenge, when to call keyholders, in what order, and when to escalate to police.

05

Ongoing review

The ARC provides incident reports for every activation. We review trigger patterns with you and adjust rules to reduce noise and improve response accuracy.

Common Questions

How does the ARC know what is happening at my site?

Via encrypted live feeds from your cameras and signals from your alarm panel. When a trigger fires, an operator has live vision of the relevant area within seconds - not a notification that something might be happening.

Is remote monitoring the same as CCTV recording?

No. Recording captures what happened so you can review it later. Remote monitoring means a trained operator is watching live and can act while an event is still unfolding. Many clients have both - recording for evidence, monitoring for response.

What is an audio challenge and does it actually work?

An audio challenge is a live or pre-recorded message broadcast through a site speaker when an operator confirms an intruder. It tells them they have been seen, they are being recorded, and a response is coming. Research and real-world experience consistently show that most people leave. It is the lowest-cost, fastest response available.

What happens at 3am on Christmas Day?

The same as at 3pm on a Tuesday. Our ARC runs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. That is what monitoring means.
