Intruder Alarms
Grade 2 and Grade 3 intruder alarm systems, professionally installed and monitored by a NACOSS-approved ARC.
What this covers
An alarm that goes off and calls nobody is a noise box. Ours are linked to a monitoring centre that contacts your keyholder first and the police if needed. Every activation logged, every response documented.
Grade 3 Detection
Wired and wireless sensors specified to your floor plan and risk profile. Insurance-grade, police-eligible, auditor-ready.
Police URN Response
Confirmed activation routes directly to police with a Unique Reference Number. No delays from unverified false alarms.
Hybrid Wireless Options
Wired backbone where possible, wireless sensors where needed. No compromise on detection in listed or difficult buildings.
Dual Path Signalling
Primary and backup comms paths mean a cut line does not silence your alarm. Standard on every system we commission.
How We Work
Risk assessment
We identify all entry points, high-value areas, and the appropriate detector positions - including zones that are often overlooked such as skylights, internal doors, and plant rooms.
Grade specification
We confirm what your insurance policy and the police require, then specify the correct grade of panel, detectors, and communications.
Installation
Panel installation, detector positioning and sensitivity calibration, zone configuration, ARC linkage, and sounder placement.
Testing and commissioning
Every zone tested individually. ARC communication confirmed. Keyholder cascade verified. We do not sign off until everything works.
NSI certification
We issue your NSI certificate and register the police URN where required, so your system is compliant on day one.

Common Questions
What is the difference between Grade 2 and Grade 3?
Grade 3 is designed to resist a more determined attack - higher-specification panels, stronger tamper protection, and more robust detector requirements. It is required in some insurance policies for higher-risk premises. We will tell you what your specific situation actually needs, not just quote the higher grade to justify a bigger installation.
Do I need ARC monitoring?
If you have valuable stock, a vulnerable site, or an insurance requirement for monitored response, yes. An alarm that alerts nobody with decision-making authority is not adequate commercial security. ARC monitoring costs less than most people expect - from a few pounds a week, depending on the level of response.
What happens when there is a false alarm?
We investigate the cause. Most false alarms come from detector sensitivity set too high, spiders on passive infrared sensors, or user error on set and unset. We address the cause rather than just resetting and moving on.
Can the alarm link to our CCTV system?
Yes. We configure the alarm so a zone trigger automatically switches relevant cameras to full resolution recording and flags those feeds to the ARC operator. That is how verified response works - the operator sees what is happening before deciding whether to deploy police.

Other security systems we install

CCTV Installation
HD IP camera systems for commercial premises, warehouses, car parks, and multi-site operations. Monitored 24/7 or recorded locally.

Access Control
Keypad, fob, card, and biometric access systems. Control who enters which door, at which time, with a full audit trail.

Remote Monitoring
24/7 live CCTV monitoring by our Alarm Receiving Centre. Real operators watching your cameras, not just motion alerts.
